I scrape my tongue the second I wake up — it removes overnight bacteria buildup, boosts oral health, and (apparently) kickstarts digestion by stimulating organs via the tongue. It’s Ayurvedic, it’s satisfying, and honestly, your toothbrush could never. 2. Mouth taping I know, I know. It sounds unhinged. But mouth taping has been the single biggest game-changer for my sleep. I use a tiny strip of surgical tape across my lips at night — it gently trains me to breathe through my nose, which helps with oxygen intake, nervous system regulation and even snoring. I wake up feeling properly rested, not like I’ve been in a bar fight with my pillow. 3. Legs up the wall If I’ve had a stressful day or I’ve been on my feet, I’ll lie on the floor, shimmy my legs up a wall, and just be. It improves circulation, calms the nervous system, and helps drain lymphatic fluid — and it’s wildly calming. No special gear, no excuses. Just legs + wall = bliss. 4.
