Ingredients: 2 cups of Liquid Coconut Oil (or your preferred carrier oil) 2-4 tablespoons of Turmeric Powder (adjust based on your preference) 2 tablespoons of Dried Horsetail (or 4 teaspoons powdered) 2 tablespoons of Dried Nettle Leaf (or 4 teaspoons powdered) 2 tablespoons of Dried Hibiscus Petals 2-3 pieces of Whole Vetiver Root (broken into smaller pieces if necessary) Instructions: Prepping the Ingredients: Whole Vetiver Root: If the vetiver root is in long or large pieces, break it up into smaller chunks or pieces. This will make it easier for the oil to penetrate and extract its benefits. You can use a knife or scissors to chop it into smaller segments (around 1-2 inch pieces). Other Dried Herbs: Chop or grind the horsetail, nettle, and hibiscus if needed. The more finely these herbs are ground, the better they’ll infuse into the oil. Prepare the Levo C Machine: Pour 2 cups of Liquid Coconut Oil into the oil reservoir of your Levo C machine. Add your dried herbs (turmeric, horsetail, nettle, hibiscus) into the herb pod. Add the broken pieces of whole vetiver root into the herb pod as well. Set the Levo C: Set the temperature to 100°F to 120°F (around 110°F is ideal for oil infusions). The Levo C will gently heat the oil, allowing it to extract the properties of the whole vetiver root over time. Infuse the oil for 2 to 2.5 hours. Since vetiver root is denser, a little extra time will help ensure a thorough extraction. Strain & Finish: Once the infusion time is up, carefully strain the oil to remove the herbs and vetiver root. A fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth will work well, but since vetiver root can be fibrous, you might want to strain it twice to make sure no pieces remain in the oil. If the oil looks cloudy, give it a second strain to ensure it’s clean and smooth. Store: Transfer the elixir into a glass dropper bottle or a small jar. Store the Golden Hair Elixir in a cool, dark place to preserve its potency. Usage: Gently massage into your scalp and hair.
