I’m not for the Skims wrap but these surgeons are a bit dramatic. What do you think??
 Dear Surgeons, we know non-surgical methods don’t replace surgical facelifts, obviously! But not everyone can afford surgery or wants to go under the knife.
 As an acupuncturist, I know that many are interested in subtle but meaningful results from non-surgical anti-aging methods. How do I know? They are my patients. There is a demand for this! Face wraps aren’t BS. But they are subtle in effect. Results are more dramatic for those with chronic puffiness and sluggish circulation.
 They work via compression mechanics - minimizing swelling and supporting blood flow. That’s why they’re used post-surgically after face lifts - and sports recovery (think leg compression devices). Face wraps don’t “lift” fat or facial structures. They reduce excess puffiness and bloating - it’s THIS that makes the face appear more lifted, sculpted. Is it more subtle than surgery? Obviously.
 Surgeons blast the results as temporary. Well by that logic, so is yoga. So is weight training. So should we not do those either? Like exercise, non-surgical anti-aging is more about lifestyle practices, not one-and-done procedures. 
 Physicians from Korea and China speak more neutrally about face wraps. They say these are useful, affordable therapies for daily/weekly home use alongside in-office procedures. I don’t use face wraps personally, but if I did I would follow best practices: ⚠️ PROPER USAGE: * Use GENTLE compression only, NEVER tight * 20-30 min max - not overnight * Use caution with TMJ, dental work, circulation issues * Choose quality fabric designed by medical experts (not Skims!)
 And let’s be clear, collagen yarns are a thing (whether you like them or not) and they never claimed to build collagen. Rather, they are designed to prevent skin moisture loss. A simply google search can tell you that.
