Joy Odimegwu is a beloved figure in her community, a devoted mother of five (including twins), a tireless worker, and a woman known for showing up for others even in her own time of need. For years, she ran a bustling trade at Arena Market, selling anything and everything to support her family and make ends meet. Joy has been a professional Event caterer for up to 10 years. Her resilience speaks for itself, but it’s her kindness that people remember most. She’s the type of person who would give her last to someone else without hesitation. A natural nurturer, a quiet force, and a giver through and through. Whether you meet her at home, in the market, or just ask around, one thing is clear:Joy has touched countless lives with her selflessness and strength. In 2024, she was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour , a journey that led to surgery and many months of chemotherapy. Through it all, she remained hopeful, grounded, and strong for her children and those around her. April 2025 marked her final chemo session, and with it comes the collective prayers of her community for full healing and restoration. She’s not on Instagram. She’s never had a proper photoshoot.
