KUIU CONSERVATION DIRECT project participation opportunity. As you may have seen we are currently in Nevada on a sheep capture. KUIU Conservation Direct and Grand Slam Ovis have teamed up with Nevada Division of Wildlife and NBU in an Emergency capture in Nevada. Due to Overpopulation and extreme drought we will be moving approximately 150 sheep to three new locations over the next 8 days. This is your chance to be a part of a historic project! Each bighorn sheep will be equipped with a GPS collar that will assist NDOW in monitoring efforts. Thirty Collars are available for Purchase through Nevada Bighorns Unlimited. 20 collars have been purchased over the last 24 hours from previous donors leaving only 5 remaining!
