(ad) i can never say no to a good alu 75% 🥲 this is the moonshsadow v2 by @kiiboom.official and another option on the market of budget alu 75s to start off, i really like how kiiboom usually uses dye sub keycaps for their pre-builts. most cheaper double shot sets i’ve used sounded a little scratchy and dry, even with perfectly lubed switches. i don’t mind as i usually swap out the keycaps anyway but having decently marbly keycaps stock sure is a nice plus! kiiboom also makes sure to have a dedicated mac/win switch for super easy transitioning. while i only use windows devices, i know friends who swap between devices for work so they’ve been telling me they prefer a dedicated switch or key binding. the included no-flex cut PC plate is yet another nice addition to give even more customization options and something i’m seeing for the first time for the pre-built alu options! some do offer additional plates but those need to be purchased at your own cost, so this was a pleasant surprise. what i’m not a fan of is the knob placement though - while the knob itself has nice tactility and the quality seems sturdy, i feel like it’s a little too close to the boarder. in my opinion, it seems a bit misplaced but it does make an additional function key possible so i guess there’s always a trade off. overall i really like this board; the stabs were pretty good out of the box and the sound is on the deeper pitched side while still being clacky at the same time. #kiiboom #moonshadowv2 #keyboard #mechanicalkeyboard #customkeyboard #typing
