I want to name him Tate 🥔🐸 . The small baked potato frog is in progress! For the first slip application, I had mixed it to a really good texture for potato guts. However, as the slip waiting while I scored the frog, its moisture equalized and lost its delightfully chunky consistency. SO I scraped all of the clay off this morning & dried the bits back out to bone dry. I mixed small portions of the dry clay with water until it was the right texture & immediately applied it to the frog’s back. This worked exactly how I hoped!
