Creating Ceramic Aluminum Foil for my Baked Potatoads. . Boy, I just love a good practical texture application. I’m prone to dilly dallying & imagine that sculpting foil is quite tedious work. So why not use real foil to shape it? Well, firstly, the foil sticks to the wet clay and will not hold its shape if you try to peel it off immediately. However, if you let the clay become leather hard, the foil peels off so easily with no sticking!!! I definitely had to refine the edges of the dishes with a finishing sponge and be careful not to crack the forms while manipulating the sharp aluminum.
