Another example of the ‘wet block printing’ method I tried out on a few pillows this season. The wooden blocks are applied while the fabric is still damp from dyeing. The moisture keeps the fibers open and receptive, allowing the pigment to spread slightly and create this really cool soft, feathered edge that I think works especially well with florals and medallions.
