Back when I was a little girl, besides being an Olympian, I imagined being an MLB player—because there was nothing else to dream about on the professional level. To now be working with @MLB through @mlbdevelops, seeing their investment in youth softball, and watching them take a leap to back a women’s pro league… it’s the ultimate full-circle moment. But this is just the beginning. As an @AUSL advisor, witnessing the intentionality behind the scenes—especially with Kim Ng leading the charge—it feels so right. This moment is a major hat tip to every woman who came before me/with me and every iteration of a pro league that paved the way. To all the incredible athletes (@sisbates22 & @sharpalacios) stepping into this new era—you’re not just living the dream, you’re creating a new blueprint for the next generation to follow.
