My Heroes. Way back in 1986, I came to California with my Mom while she was visiting cousins expressly so I could see the @rockyandbullwinkleday statue outside of the #dudleydorightemporium - the store (which inspired @jayandsilentbobstash) filled floor to ceiling with T-shirts and merch featuring the colorful cast of characters from @jaywardproductions! I took pics of the statue in its original location that day 39 years ago - and yesterday, I visited my pals in their newest location in #westhollywood. I remember thinking “Imagine living in a place where you could see this all the time!” Well I’ve now lived in that place for the past 23 years - and I do get to see this monument to a pair of best friends from Frostbite Falls all the time. Hokey Smoke, the young me would love that - but not as much as the old me does. #KevinSmith #rockyandbullwinkle
