September is blood cancer awareness month. 🩸 I’m excited to announce that @ohjackfir now has the option to donate to @bloodcancerunited (formerly LLS) at checkout! No organization is nearer to my heart. After my battle with leukemia, I knew I had to give back to other patients struggling to beat this horrendous disease. Even as a survivor, there is a sticky residual trauma that never quite leaves. Between funding research, assisting patients financially and emotionally, and advocating for patient rights, BCU helps with every step along the way in fighting blood cancer, with the ultimate goal of curing all blood cancers. 💪 I’ve included a bonus video I found on my phone from when I was in active treatment and living with my parents in 2019. I call my mom a “crazy cow” in Italian and she responds with the only Italian word she knows: Malpensa (the airport in Milan…). 😂 x Charlie
