You may recognise his name from @hobojackclothing 😎 What football team do you support? “Arsenal, Thierry Henry was my idol growing up.” How long have you played football? “I’ve been playing football for about 30 years now, but I had to take a couple of years away from the game after a bad rib injury and a punctured lung.” Why did you want to get involved in the charity game? “It was tough not being able to play the sport I love. There’s nothing like running around, burning off energy, and having a laugh with your mates on a Saturday morning. it does wonders for both your physical and mental health. That’s why this charity match and cause mean so much to me. During my time away, I got into running and general fitness, which really helped me stay positive. I think I’ve finally built up the confidence to get back out there, and stepping onto the pitch for the first time in two years is going to feel very special.
