Amidst a raging opioid epidemic, SNOO is giving babies—and the people who care for them—a better night’s sleep and support. For one foster mom caring for a baby with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS), SNOO provided steady comfort and a safer sleep environment. She told her University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) NICU nurse about SNOO, and since 2020, UVMMC has been using the bassinets to better support newborns experiencing NAS and to provide nurses with an extra pair of hands.
