They seem to last longer than the curls from a plug in tool. And using the stove iron properly is a Skill. Managing and distributing the unknown heat temperature, is a Skill. Manipulating the iron to form your curls, is a Skill. Rolling my curls up and securing them with clips until it is time to style. The final look is partially attributed to a great hair cut and curl direction.
