- - Story book settings and a shoot we treasure.. We started at the Hemingway Hotel Nairobi. Initially,we were a little tentative,but quickly, we three girls shared our only tube of lipstick, life stories, loads of laughters,and a sense of moments so perfect. Support staff was amazing as well. Next, we arrived at the @karen_blixen_museum - the kind of place where history hangs in the air. Every path, every patch of light felt steeped in story. The museum staff @karen_blixen_museum was a bit reserved at first, but warmth quickly changed that. By the final shot, there were hugs, inside jokes, and promises to stay in touch. Which we have.❤️ Karen Blixen was elegance and edge. In her cottage, the two largest rooms are the dining room and the bedroom. That says everything about the way she lived. She entertained with joy, wrote with heart, and turned her home into something unforgettable. This shoot was about more than fashion. It was about beauty, legacy, and the creation of magical memories dancing in our heads forever. For Gretchen,it was a reverent shared moment between 2 women bound by a love of beauty and creativity separated by decades.
