Today marks a poignant milestone for Gandys, as we reflect on the 20th anniversary of the devastating Boxing Day tsunami. Founders Rob and Paul Forkan were just teenagers when they tragically lost their parents in the disaster. Amidst the pain and heartbreak, they found solace in the support of the local community in Sri Lanka, a kindness that inspired them to turn their grief into action. That moment marked the birth of Gandys and our mission: to empower children through education, creating opportunities to build brighter futures.
