🌱 2025 Forest to Field Externship 🌱 Our Rodale Institute Farmer Training (RIFT) students spent the week stepping into the heart of regenerative organic agriculture and concluded their journey at @GaiaHerbs in North Carolina. Gaia Herbs cares for 270+ acres of Regenerative Organic Certified™ land, growing more than 5 million plants and 45 types of herbs each year. Their farm is a Living Laboratory where premium herbal supplements are grown and harvested using practices that connect farming to wellness, business, and global supply chains. During their two days at Gaia, students toured the farm, engaged in hands-on learning, and connected with Gaia’s team. They experienced firsthand how regenerative organic practices can scale to nourish both people and planet.
