Solid day chasing smallmouth in NH this morning. I should have brought the @fxrprofish Excursion insulated bibs though, it was frigid in the wind! The cold front didn't slow the bass down, but the rain sure did. Started with bottom baits for the first hour and didn't get anything. Moved to scoping and saw a school suspended down 10' in 30' of water, so I started pinging a minnow and was immediately rewarded on the first cast. That lasted for an hour before the rain moved in, then I moved to a jerkbait and picked up a few more for 11 total in 3 hours. Great average, smallest was 3-06 and biggest was 3-15. Water temp was 55 degrees. .
