10 things I learned running Full Violence and being part of Combat Sports on the internet: 1️⃣ Of course no. 1 is, I love @fullviolence. I love the fans who ride for us, and I love my team. I wouldn’t trade what we’ve built for ANYTHING. 2️⃣ If you’re truly passionate about something, let that passion lead you. I made $0 for the longest time and had no clue what I was doing, I just knew I loved this sport. Do it for the love first. The money will come later. 3️⃣ I learned to manage a whole team on the fly, something I never imagined I could do. I didn’t go to college. I was a D and C student my whole life. But school doesn’t define what you’re capable of. 4️⃣ Running a fight brand teaches you to be very careful what you say publicly. One wrong comment can cost you a relationship. Keep the mean sh*t to yourself 😂 5️⃣ Trolls will always exist. You either learn to laugh at them or ignore them. Most of the time, they’re projecting insecurity or jealousy. 6️⃣ The feeling of pain you get when your favorite fighter loses is quite literally the same feeling as a breakup. 7️⃣ When I was younger growing FV, I used to argue with fans. But I get it now, everyone sees the sport through their own lens. It’s not that someone’s opinion is wrong… it’s just different. You don’t need to prove your opinion is correct over theirs. 8️⃣ I hate the term fraud check because it’s so loosely used. A few losses doesn’t mean someone was/is a fraud. 9️⃣ I experienced this one full hand. Edgy opinions get more attention and engagement on the internet, WAY MORE than common ones. So yeah, be bold… but don’t be dumb. 🔟 Some fans tend to switch up on a favorite fighter of theirs just because the fans that fighter has are “annoying.” Try to separate the fans from the fighter. Don’t switch up.
