Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day. All four of my grandparents were Holocaust survivors. They endured unimaginable horrors, lost everything, and still chose to rebuild—with faith, with strength, and with love. They didn’t just survive—they lived. They raised families rooted in Jewish values, passed down resilience like a birthright, and showed us what it means to hold onto hope even after everything is taken from you. Because of them, I am here. Because of them, my children know pride in their heritage. We remember the 6 million lost. We honor the legacy of those who survived.
