This parody of Frazetta‘s favorite movie, King Kong, was the last art he would do for Warren publishing. This cover was originally produced six years earlier when Warren was planning on publishing an adult magazine called “POW!”. That magazine never came to be, so Warren held onto the cover for years, eventually using it in February 1977. All of the stories in this issue were based on this cover. .
