For the holidays this year, we want happiness. Plain and simple. That search led us to the farmers of Bhutan — a small Himalayan kingdom famous for measuring Gross National Happiness instead of GDP. Hidden between India and Tibet, Bhutan is a place where environmental health is sacred: Over 70% of the country is covered in forest. Mining and hunting are banned. Education and Healthcare are free for all. The air is clean, the water is pure, the food is nutritious, and more than 3,000 medicinal ingredients grow wild across its slopes — including Rhodiola, Shilajit, Cordyceps, and Black Turmeric. We worked directly with a collection of extraordinary farmers and purveyors to create a collection that captures the purity and purpose of this magical Kingdom, and directly supports the work they each doing.
