FULL REVEAL of a top secret project! Finfolk family, we have waited almost an entire year to share this special moment with you. 🥹 Our Kelpie Throne is an all new, elaborate royal photo spot for YOU - our merfolk! Now waiting for you in our @carrenfest renaissance festival courtyard- this one of a kind throne was entirely designed, sculpted, and built by the team! The throne that has resided at our booth for the last three seasons was a free, used prop we received from a defunct theater warehouse and we decided it was time for a serious upgrade. Wow oh wow what a glow up. 🤩 This throne was fully sculpted by me (Bryn) in a 3D modeling program and then 3D printed (over 500 individual pieces) and assembled by Zach, with sanding and finishing help by Orley, painting by Abby, and print bed assistance from multiple other Finfolk team members. We hope you will come visit us and our new throne (we’ve named them Phoebe and Fiona) at the Carolina Renaissance Festival this fall, running Saturdays and Sundays October 4th- November 23rd, where we will be allowing guests to take a seat and experience our new throne for themselves.
