The trip was inspired by the Arctic surf photography of @chrisburkard. Like Chris, we immediately fell in love with the otherworldly landscape, as well as the people. This is a culture that has a deep reverence for nature, even at its most extreme. The weather is stormy and unpredictable, and the locals live in the moment, taking every opportunity to be outside.
