I love a good Mom Hack - Anyone else? I won’t gate keep, and I hope you won’t either - we are all in this together! Here are a handful of things that help make my family’s life easier. 1. Packing lunches and laying out clothes the night before. Whether we are off to school, work, church, or staying home, I have never once regretted this. Always makes the mornings smoother! 2. Meal Planning - not to be confused with meal prepping! Meal Planning simplifies each day of the week. It helps save me time in the evenings, helps me prepare for each day better, and also saves me money at the grocery store because I know exactly what I need for the week. 3. Press on nails - I’ve been wearing these since before they were cool. These have become more and more popular over the past few years, but I haven’t had a salon manicure in over 6 years! Frequent salon visits are just not compatible with my lifestyle, but sticking to my favorite press ons has saved me time, money, from finding a babysitter, and I still get cute nails whenever I want - a win in my book! 4. Essential Oils - my family shares many allergies - food and environmental! Synthetic fragrances have been off the table for several years. Baked goods hack - the next time you make muffins, cookies, or even a breakfast casserole, double or triple your batch! Muffins you can freeze individually after baking and reheating later, breakfast casseroles, too!
