The gospel message of Jesus that has changed the world is one of grace, love and forgiveness!! “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:43-45 At the time Jesus said this, nobody had ever thought or contemplated such a message. Every culture on Earth at the time would have rejected this. But the power of this message of deep forgiveness and the gospel that Jesus came on a rescue mission from heaven to restore a broken and sinful humanity into a right relationship with the Father by taking the punishment upon Himself has radically transformed the world around us.
