For generations, birdhouses have symbolised a shared space between humans and birds 🐦 Simple yet beautiful, they offer a rare chance to observe these remarkable creatures up close. But in urban environments, birdhouses also serve a deeper purpose - standing in for the natural habitats that continue to disappear. In response, our new free display #DwellingsRehomed invites seventeen designers to reimagine the traditional birdhouse. Set within the peaceful Dame Sylvia Crowe Garden, the display blurs the line between sculpture, shelter and sanctuary.
