For instance, when we installed a charming white picket fence in our backyard, I decided to enhance my collection of Queen of Sweden roses by planting 20 of them to form a formal rose hedge. Their upright growth habit not only provides a tidy appearance but also softens the look of the white fence, resulting in a harmonious and inviting outdoor space. My love for roses began in Thailand, where I attended a high school called ‘Suankularb,’ meaning ‘rose garden.’ Located beside the country’s largest flower market, the school immersed me in the beauty of roses from an early age.
