Hi! I feel like I’m just bouncing back from a time warp to 1995. I was in the city, dropped my phone, and what followed with AT&T and screen repair drama could’ve been a three-part miniseries. Two days later, I’ve finally resurfaced. You really don’t realize how tethered you are to that tiny device until it’s gone. That said, there was a small, part of me that almost enjoyed the accidental digital detox—almost. Home on a rainy Saturday afternoon and tweaked these tall curio cabinets in our living room. There are four of them so they were the perfect spot to display my coral collection, silver, and some porcelain. I actually love the combination together. I think it works for a very formal room to a much more casual spot. What do you think?

I had to share this incredibly special gift. I’m often touched by the thoughtful gestures I receive—sometimes they’re products sent for me to try, and when I genuinely love them, I’m always happy to share. But then there are moments like this… when a gift is not just beautiful, but deeply meaningful. This exquisite sculpture crafted entirely by hand—features my favorite flower, the hydrangea. When I opened the elegant box, I had a feeling it was something special… but reading the note inside stopped me in my tracks and brought immediate tears to my eyes The artist, Susan, wrote the most heartfelt letter. She shared how she’s followed me on Instagram and enjoys my content, but what moved me most was her mention of the tributes I’ve made to my mother. Not sure what is happening with Instagram, but I’ve encountered a number of glitches previous post deleted so here we go again!!😬 Yes, I know it’s time to pack away the Easter eggs, but I caught one last parting glance this morning—a dreamy veil of fog rolled in and turned everything into a scene straight out of a painting. The chirping of the birds just added to the ambiance, If only I were a painter, I’d have picked up a brush on the spot.😘

A trip down memory lane… As I begin to gather inspiration for my new kitchen, I’ve found myself looking back at photos of my previous kitchens—this one especially brings back so many memories. I’ve also been revisiting many beautiful kitchens I’ve saved over the years, and it’s been so helpful (and fun!) seeing how timeless some designs truly are. The new kitchen will take a slightly different direction, but it will still be rooted in a very classic, traditional style that I’ve always loved. That said, I know there are so many new features, appliances, and design ideas out there—and I’m a bit out of the loop! Hi everyone, Well, so much for my Easter weekend plans! Not a flower in sight, zero groceries in the fridge, and let’s not even talk about the meals I didn’t prep. I’ve been home with the flu, and while I was hoping to wake up feeling like a spring chicken… that didn’t happen. Really hoping tomorrow brings a little bounce back so Phillip and t family can still come over as planned.
