Tracee Gets Superfine Come behind the scenes as @traceeellisross goes from glam chair to grand entrance at the #MetGala @chuckielovehair, Tracee’s longtime hairstylist & friend was tasked with creating a style using PATTERN to match Tracee’s iconic bespoke @MarcJacobs ensemble—including a hat by @stephenjonesmillinery. “Braiding was the original way we celebrated the magic of our hair,” he shares. “So to incorporate that into the look, even in a small way, brings us back to the ‘small attention to details’, that the “Dandyism Era” encompasses.” He began by blow drying Tracee’s washed & conditioned, damp hair with the Blow Dryer (no nozzle). Then he reached for the Leave-In Conditioner, Curl Gel, Paddle Brush, Hair Ties, Styling Cream, Hair Clips Hair Pins & Edge Tool to craft a slick back bun with a braided detail. Talk about a cut & color. ✂️ 💛   Known for his locs, Access Hollywood’s @iamscottevans called hairstylist @sabsthegoodgirl & PATTERN for his big-chop hair transformation just in time for the #MetGala.   “Scott showed me what he was going to wear & I immediately knew I wanted to do something drastic,” says hairstylist Sabrina Rowe.   To prep his coils for bleach & color, Sabrina started with Hydration Shampoo, Medium Conditioner & the Breakage Barrier Mask. For styling, Sabrina steamed in the moisture with our Hair Steamer, then layered in Hydrating Mist, Leave-In Conditioner, Palo Santo Styling Cream, Palo Santo Curl Mousse & finished with Shine Spray.   “You can look at this bottle and read it’s formulated for curlies, coilies & tight textures,” says Evans. “It is the core focus of [PATTERN].
