I’ve been working on sprucing up my website, and in the process I was reminded there are several pieces available I never really gave enough love on the grid. A couple years back I got really into wrapping and dabbled in macrame and because of my “what if” nature, I ended up creating this piece in two sections that I honestly think is so cool. It can be arranged in lots of ways and is really playful and fun. Another piece using fabric from my mom’s stash that she used to make clothes for me and my brothers when we were kids. Each little ball is filled with a pom pom that didn’t make it into one of my pom pieces. I always knew it was worth holding on to them! I also did an experiment using paper towel instead of Fabri-Solvy to create some textured/patterned fabric combining both the terry and the jersey. #sustainableart #makeitwork #textileexperiments #greenart #greenisaneutral #californiaartist
