My new PB! Can you guess? My last PB was a 6lbs flat. - this was on the @biwaa_usa KAPSIZ HD 6" swimbait. This trip has been incredible. The SLR has always held a special place in my heart and each time I come I feel like more memories just add on. Good bye to Canada for now! We will be back in June if anyone wants to book a trip. Change of pace. BIG BIRD. The original Bird by Defiant came off the bench for a couple hours and a couple fish. Missed a huge blowup on a mile long cast that I would have like to got a look at. At 6" and 4oz its a different animal than the Baby Bird, but has the same drawing power, with the same ferocious eats, in a much larger profile. I'll be throwing it more for sure. Check it out! Dropping the 🔨 on big spring green heads with the @beastcoastfishing Workingmans Swimjig is just too much fun. This bite will last for quite awhile too, so I'll keep it tied on right into the summer. And the @douglasspinandcast ERA 765XF isn't my first choice for a swim jig rod, but it's certainly a great option and more than capable for the job! Well that was another great day on the water hunting down giants with @badbasscasts. 25.41 lbs what just our best 5 for the day we caught close to 50 fish and it was an absolute blast. Her big fish went 5.46. And I was able to find not only a 6.28 Largemouth but also got a beautiful 5.24 smallmouth as well.

Found a last minute cull on the @biwaa_usa 4” Warax! She came in at: •| 6lbs 13oz x 22.75” |• Found this late spawner in the last couple days of the monthly KBF State Tournament and knew she was what I needed to slide in the money. Sight fished her for about an hour, but after switching to the Warax it only took 10 flips to get her in the net!
