Stop giving schools a false sense of security just because you wear a badge. That badge means nothing if you can’t physically respond. You don’t train. You don’t move. You damn sure don’t protect. You’re not a School Resource Officer you’re a walking liability. Kids deserve real protection, not someone hiding behind a title while teaching nothing and doing even less. But he didn’t count on armed and trained defenders inside. He was stopped cold by parishioners and church security who refused to be victims. Yes, one security member was shot, but their courage saved lives and prevented a massacre. Let this be your wake-up call. Evil doesn’t care where you are. Carry your piece. Train. If you’re a defensive tactics instructor and you don’t train, you’re a fraud. You can’t teach what you don’t live and you damn sure can’t teach how to save another cop’s life. Suspect shoots for a double leg. Officer sprawls and transitions to the back, radios for backup, draws Taser. This could’ve ended badly if he didn’t train. No backstory. No excuses. A bystander’s car was damaged during the incident, wrong place, wrong time. Control the fight before it controls you.

At one point they realized he had a gun underneath him a ghost gun. Even after being tased and shot multiple times the suspect managed to fire a round before being killed. He was a convicted felon with a long criminal record. They say if he had just complied he would be alive to have his day in court. This is why training matters.
