Even though living in a van in the heat isn’t ideal, so much of surviving it (and dare I say enjoying it??) depends on what we’re wearing! Thankfully @cotopaxi has us covered from head to toe 👌🏼 #ad On top, I have on the Muevo Scoop Tank which is the tank I find myself reaching for the most because it’s so comfy yet supportive. On the bottom, we’re each wearing our quick drying Brinco shorts which are PERFECT because if we’re hiking in summer, 9 times out of ten we’re cold plunging 💦 (plus I love not having to change into a bathing suit on the trail)! Another hot weather hiking non-negotiable are our sunhoodies! We wear these in all four seasons, but in summer specifically when the UV is at its strongest. You’ve prob seen us wear these everywhere by now but these are great for so many reasons (I’ll give you four 👇🏼) 1. More protection with less sunscreen 2. You wouldn’t believe how much cooler you stay when the sun isn’t directly on your skin. 3. Full upper body coverage (head, neck, arms, etc.) 4. You can dunk em for nature’s AC on the way back up (aka our fav hot weather hiking hack) 😎🪭 And we’re carrying everything in our Elqui daypack (we’ve hiked everything from 1-10 miles with this pack).
