This Kavad is one such example. Two bases sourced from bundi during my trip in 2018. Painted by a talented Pattachitra artist with Krishna Leela theme. Yes Kavad in Pattachitra. And why not :) This old school story telling methodology must have been so much fun for kids back then. And I have to say. It's a lot of work to paint on those never ending layers of opening shutters 😬 Anyway, we had 2. One is booked. One is available. You know where to find it. And no we can't do this again. Because we did this for fun only. I am sure most of you will understand the thrill of doing something only once and never have to do it ever again 😀

Decor plates we have realised will never go out of style. That is what you will find on our website at all times. However we tend to try and introduce new designs as often as we can Working with Pattachitra especially has been fascinating. An artform that's known for all the bright colors we always been drawn to color palettes maybe a little away from the traditional palette. And thankfully we have received an encouraging response. When I was prototyping this product, the question did arise, is it truly a door knocker that works? Is it truly functional? The honest straight answer is No. Not in our times. Not unless you sleep right under that very door 😬 or this world didn't have noise pollution. And yet it had something beyond functionality that one could not ignore. It was Interactive in the most rudimentary way - that brought out the child in all of us. And you can't help but want to pull that string and bring that bird to life 😁 I imagined guests "toying" with this door knocker - waiting at the door to be attended after ringing the actual bell. Our popsicle trays are lovely. We have brought them back after almost 2 years or more maybe. Use them as serveware, decor or for gifting! Our Cherials and cut outs especially look quite nice on them :) all you need is a hook at the back and up they go on the wall :) #canetray #ecofriendlygifting

Turning over a new leaf literally! Our interaction with our clients just got a bit more intimate with opening our very first store in Hyderabad. Someone recently asked me how i decided on my product mix. And I realised I had no constructive answer to the question. Its such an organic process along with feedback from clients that helps us think of products and colors Unlike a design house that has a clear design language and a signature style, I do believe we don't follow any rules. I don't feel that's the right way to work. And that is why my mind is in perpetual chaos trying to get in as many unique products as possible. Can't be helped. Not too small. #tulsipot We keep adding to our terracotta range only because we have the most wonderful artist who is happy to create new products for us. We are also curating a few terracotta products from other craft clusters to add to the range to offer you a variety I lose control indeed! My appetite for new products is insatiable!
