The Challenges: 5 min max reps - Pull-ups. Burpees. KB Snatches. Ammo. Can Lifts. Pugil Stick Tournament (male and female divisions) Main Event - Team vs Team Tug-of-War Tournament! One mission: COMPETE for the GOLD. Flyovers, helicopters, and special guests like WWE’s Titus O’Neil @titusoneilwwe, Kaj Larsen @kajlarsen, Jeff Gum @jeffgum and the Dolphins Cheerleaders @dolphinscheer make this the can’t-miss event of Fleet Week Fort Lauderdale! But this isn’t just one day. The scores set at the Top Gun Olympics will become the new standard—a benchmark for YMCA members and the public to strive toward all year long. At first, I contemplated, wasn’t sure, because I haven’t trained for Hyrox in a couple months. I then told myself “Don’t be a pussy, just show up and give it your all”. Now it’s 3 days later and have completed 3 total #Hyrox Races. Shoutout Kyle for sticking out, shutting the brain off, and giving this race everything he had.
