⚙️GRINDING - Iris Cold Shop Part 2⁠ The next step in our cold shop process for our Seasonal Tumblers involves grinding the glass to achieve a flat rim. Oftentimes, after hot popping, the glass will have an uneven rim that wouldn't provide the best drinking experience. Keep your eyes out for part 3 of this series, releasing this Saturday!

🌼 Spring in the mountains is pure magic! 🌼✨ The air is fresh, flowers are blooming, and the bees are buzzing. These unique handblown glass bottles come in various shapes and colors, reflecting the vibrant hues of the season!

💥HOTPOPPING - Iris Cold Shop Part 1⁠ Hotpopping is the first, and maybe the coolest, part of our Seasonal Tumbler cold shop process. It all starts with a mark line that we scratch onto the glass. This small line will expand all the way around the glass when heated with a torch on a spinning table. This method is not only the most efficient way to shape our glass, but it also delivers a gratifying sound with each "pop"! We will release the rest of the Iris cold shop series throughout this week, stay tuned!

We are excited to bring back one of our Studio Collection items: hand-blown Mushrooms! Watch as our glass artists show you how we make these colorful and fun pieces! Shroom Blooms are perfect for those who love mycology and will make a great addition to any glass collection. Please note that each Shroom Bloom is unique, so no two will be exactly the same. 🌵How It's Made: Cactus glass sculptures! If you haven't seen our photos yet from our earlier post, go check those out to get a closer look at our Cactus designs. It's hard to decide what our favorite part of this glassblowing process is; the making of the prickly topper is very satisfying, although we are always mesmerized by the addition of white lines. This unique glass sculpture is meticulously crafted by hand. After shaping the glass, a considerable amount of time is spent carving to achieve the look envisioned. The color palette and design of these carvings resemble a bird's-eye view of the waves rolling in at the beach. Additionally, this sculpture showcases distinctive white lines on top, a layer of clear glass, and matte white glass that lies beneath, giving it a layered effect.
