The past few months have tested me physically in ways I never expected. When Kevin and Cove were injured, I thought once they healed, I would too. But my body kept struggling — more exhaustion, more inflammation, more questions. Testing confirmed what I wasn’t prepared to hear: Hashimoto’s. Another autoimmune diagnosis. Another mountain to climb. And I’m still left asking: why? Is it the years of stress? Is it genetics? Could my breast implants — placed over a decade ago — be causing hidden damage? Could they be leaking? What is my body trying to tell me? And more importantly… how do I help it heal? Ugh. So many questions, and never enough time in the day to find all the answers. But even in the thick of it, you know what I’m grateful for? Kevin. He’s been my rock, my safe place — the one reminding me that our track record of walking through hard things is undefeated. For anyone out there who has a “Kevin” in your life — a spouse, a friend, a family member — someone who sticks through the doctor appointments, the bills, the trial and error, the battles with our own bodies… You are more needed, more loved, and more life-saving than you know.
