Cleveland’s Thinker has seen some things… Rodin’s iconic The Thinker took its seat at the Cleveland Museum of Art in 1917—one of only a few casts made during the artist’s lifetime. But here’s where it gets wild: in 1970, someone literally bombed it. The blast blew off its legs and flipped it off its pedestal. Instead of fixing it, the museum kept it as-is—scars and all.
