This past weekend, we touched down in Mayrhofen, Austria, to link up with @The__Uninvited crew alongside presenting co-sponsor @UnionBindingCo for The Uninvited Euro Open. For those still catching up, The Uninvited—a movement led by team rider @Jess.Kimura, has become a driving force in women’s snowboarding. What started as a video trilogy has evolved into a full-fledged contest series that has helped fuel the explosive progression of women’s riding. Season after season, this platform has helped unearth and elevate a new generation of talent. With that mission in mind, we headed to @PenkenPark for the second Euro installment, where riders battled for a chance to compete in the most prestigious event in women’s snowboarding—The Uninvited Invitational at @WoodwardParkCity, April 11-13. The lead-up to the event threw us a mix of conditions—snow, dense clouds, and near-zero visibility. But Jess Kimura called it: “Contest day will be sunny.” And sure enough, under the energy of this event, Saturday delivered bluebird skies and an epic stage for these riders to throw down.
