Until I breath my last, I will carry many special memories from Cocodona this week. That said, this one will forever stand out. Thank you Orion. For those who do not know, the Cocodona 250 starts in Black Canyon City and ends in Flagsaff, AZ. Along the way runners cover mile after mile of beautiful mountain country and also reach “aid stations “ for the race in small towns along the way. For safety and race information runners wear GPS tracking devices which means anyone can look at anytime and see where we are on course, our pace, etc.. This feature allowed some super kind people to follow my progress along the 256-mile adventure. The results were homemade signs and greetings wishing me well which was powerful.
