We spent last week in D.C. doing what we’ve always done at ByHeart—pushing for progress and advocating for the advancement of infant nutrition. From Capitol Hill to key agencies, we met with policymakers, medical leaders, and members of the media to talk about what needs to change in this stagnant industry to make meaningful change on behalf of babies: outdated standards, fragile supply chains, and under-prioritized innovation to drive functional health. On the heels of the Department of Health and Human Services’ announcement of Operation Stork Speed, ByHeart is actively working with key stakeholders to ensure the demands of parents and experts across the field of infant nutrition alike are being heard: Higher standards, cleaner ingredients, more functional nutrition. This has been a pillar of ByHeart since we founded the company almost a decade ago. We’re energized by our meetings with key offices in the White House, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and key committees on Capitol Hill, as well as our continued work alongside Rep. Zach Nunn (R-IA) and Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA). Stay tuned for more from the ByHeart team!
