🏡 TIP: Use Deck Tape on your joists. Here’s why: Even if you’re going with a composite deck, the frame underneath is still wood and that’s what ends up rotting if it’s not protected. Deck Tape: ✅ Waterproofs the top of the joists ✅ Seals around fasteners to block moisture ✅ Helps prevent rot and premature failure ✅ Extends the life of your entire deck frame You can use traditional tape or a roll-on liquid (half the price).
