Our son Maverick is back to school as a 3rd grader, and this year he was able to do something he’s literally waited his entire life to do - wear BRUNT boots to school. We now go down to size 5 in some of our styles, and between us sizing-down and him growing up, he was finally able to head off to school with BRUNT boots on his feet. There has never been a bigger fan of the BRUNT brand than Maverick. I’ve been making him little BRUNT shirts and hats since he could walk. He wears a BRUNT logo every day, on every article of clothing he has (sleeves optional when it’s warm enough). A lot of people don’t know that when we started the company, it was first set up as Maverick Work Wear, Inc. That’s still the legal name of the business. I named the company after him, and the person I hoped he would become. I knew the sacrifices my wife and I were going to have to make to turn the vision for BRUNT into a reality - and my hope was that when he was older he would be just as proud of the brand and all the work we put into it as he is now. A few weeks ago we surprised Maverick with his first pair of BRUNT boots in front of a large crowd at the BRUNT Garage. As his Dad, it would be hard to explain how happy this makes me. To see our number one fan heading off to school in his favorite boots makes the whole journey worth it.
