'tis autumn. 🍂 If you have a fall garden or your plants have stopped producing, that means it's also a good time to give things a spruce. Here are 4 simple steps to keep in mind: 1. Remove all spent plants. 2. Compost spent plants UNLESS they are insect-or disease-infested, then bag them and trash them. (You don't want mealy bugs, other insects, or diseases to spread) 3. Remove old mulch and replace with fresh each season. Additionally, remove weeds and add in a fresh layer of compost to enrich the soil. 4. Remove possible shelters for those insects by removing old boards, covers, and tools. This will also help your tools last longer. Are we missing anything? What do you do to transition your plants and garden each season? 🌱 #garden #plants #bonnieplants #gardening #tisautumn #fallseason
