A special release from John Lofgren, the Deerskin Engineer Boot in Burnt Burgundy is now at Blue Owl in limited quantities. ⁠ ⁠ The boots are built in Japan using a rare batch of Ezo Shika deerskin leather from Japan’s northern Hokkaido region. Historically used by the indigenous Ainu people and in samurai armor, this leather remains prized for its strength, resilience, and rugged texture which showcases the wild deer hide.⁠ ⁠ The boots are oiled and burnished, and fitted with USA-made Vibram® 705 half soles and 700 heels via fully-recraftable Goodyear welt construction.⁠ ⁠ The special run is available now online and in-store at Blue Owl while supplies last.⁠ ⁠ #JohnLofgren
