From the Luci archives: On August 29, 2015 @themegansullivan and team placed 39 solar-powered Luci lanterns temporarily up the Snake Dike route on Yosemite's Half Dome. Red lights went on all of the bolts and anchors, while white lights illuminated the rest of the route. The light show only lasted around five hours as they cleaned the route on the rappel down. This effort was in celebration of the American Safe Climbing Association (@asca_bolt_replacement), who has re-bolted over 75,000 bolts across America and beyond. - #biolite #luci #climbing #yosemite #halfdome
