Kicking off the season in Alberta! 2/2 years in a row with @worldwidetrophyadventures! We hunted our tails off for 5 straight days, mainly chasing an absolute giant with several close encounters, but he kept giving us the slip. The final morning, we named this buck “crown” earlier in the week because of his multiple splits on his left fork. We had spotted him several times throughout the week, but never in a good spot when we found him. The last morning we found “crown” bedded in the barley and had an hour stalk to get to 55 yards. After several throws of a rock from @jake.berendes, he finally stood up and I smoked him. Can’t wait to be back chasing Muleys in the north country soon!
