I’ve been running this same mini full-body workout on repeat every day, because right now a lil somethin’ is better than nothing. This is what’s realistic for me in this season of life. it feels good, I can memorize it, and I don’t need someone else to watch the kids while I do it. I’ve tried workout guides, but the second I have to check my phone, I get distracted… or it takes too long and I get interrupted by the littles. Then I miss a day, get discouraged, and drop the whole thing. Wake up before the kids? When?? I’m up at 4 a.m. for “booby snacks” and the big littles are up by 5. Long walks with all 3? Tried it. Dangerous. LOL. So right now, my only goal is to build the habit of moving daily, not chasing physical changes. We know I’m not a bounce-back girly. I’ll track progress by my strength with loading more weight each week, and maybe one day the workouts will get longer… maybe the kids will even let me do my thing. I used to think if I couldn’t go hard in my workouts like I did before, there was no point. But, fuck itttt. The perfect schedule is not coming back any time soon.
